In 1985 Rod and Kim quit secure jobs, launched Cullum Homes, and welcomed their first child—all in the same year. “We quit our jobs, started a business, and a family, essentially at the same time,” Kim recalls. Their first office? Wherever the kids were napping. That hands-on, family-first foundation became the heartbeat of everything we do: building trust, relationships, and homes grounded in integrity.

The Next Generation: Heritage Meets Innovation

Lindsay literally grew up on our job sites—sweeping floors on weekends and absorbing her parents’ work ethic. After earning her Master’s in Architecture and becoming a licensed architect, she returned to lead the company she always saw simply as “family.” Paul, a former U.S. Navy submarine officer, brought operational precision and a passion for continuous improvement. Together they’ve grown our team from 35 to more than 80 while expanding capacity—never sacrificing the personal, meticulous touch that defines Cullum Homes.
